3/17 Tawny pmps 205

Yesterday
Well I couldn't do it and leave her for so long so I BCS'd it this morning @ 3u, that 104 had a food spike in as she ate a little a hour before that. Felt guilty all day but til I got home from work but she was only 123 @ +9. I got home early cuz I had to file some pprs @ the courthouse so I left early to get there in time, the courthouse is in the town near where I live, work is about 26 miles over in the next town.

If she had been eating good and not just picky nibbling and if she hadn't been sick recently I would have shot the full dose. Even this morning when I fed her an hour b4 shot time she just picked at it, and she didn't eat much last night or during the nite.

When I went thru town I stopped and got her another piece of Popeye's chicken. I picked all the white meat out of it and fed it to her and she acted like she was ravenous and inhaled it, so that's good.

Probably won't know til tomorrow what effect the BCS shot from this morning will have, but sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do. I didn't have time to load her up & take her to my friend's.

Safety is always first and her +9 looks pretty good for a BCS dose.

That's what I thought too, we'll see where she's at for pmps in about 1/2 an hour.

Well Ella we got most of it right! She was 205 at pmps but that does include the a.m. BCS shot & the Popeye's chicken @ +9. I don't know how bad carb-wise that chicken is, of course I deskinned it (fed that to the others!) & only fed her the white meat, but it's probably still loaded w/carbs. At least she ate it. Ravenously. So we got the good appy part right anyway.

At pmps time she was meowing at me & following me around like she was hungry (a very good sign). I put her in her room w/Rocket & his girlfriend (semi-feral Benji) and they all three ate together (Benji under the table "hiding," Rock & Tawny side-by-side & face-to-face). Tawny ate huge bite fulls of Friskies turkey (her favorite) and ate at least a half of a 5.5oz can. This is a lot for her in one sitting these days. She has been grooming like crazy tonight too, another very good sign.

Here's hoping I don't have to keep messing w/her dose...
