Hopefully, J.D. is coming down from his bounce now, and will still be down from it when I return home from work.

J.D. ate fine last night and fine this morning.

We were supposed to get some snow yesterday and last night and got none. Maybe the spring is starting.

I need to go down to the basement and look through a box of old pictures to try to find a picture or two of my Sister to contribute to the C.D. they are putting together.

Yippee on no snow and good appys!! My niece in Ocean County, had about an inch last night. Not sure if she got more.
Hoping J.D. slides gently down and then surfs the rest of the day for you.

Would this be the sixth cycle after the pretty greens? That's frustrating when bounces last so long! :YMSIGH: Paws crossed for a great cycle.

I'm sure you'll find the perfect picture of your sister. I hope looking through some of the pictures will bring you warm memories that will help comfort you. You're still in my prayers, Dyana!

i have loved having a slide show on each of my parents' lives. it's a wonderful thing to be able to look at. we have a lot of videos from when our kids were young that have my folks in them, but i admit that it's too hard for me to look at them still. my mom's been gone 8 years and my dad 4, but it still feels like it just happened. the still shots are wonderful to look at.

continuing to think of you, too, dyana. i hope your family realizes what a good thing it will be for you to be there in another few weeks and be able to stay. if i can do anything to help while you're in portland, just let me know. i get off work at 2 weekdays and would be happy to drive up and help.

I waited before giving any R to see if he was rising and he did, so he got a small drop (whatever is in the needle, when you hold in the plunger of the empty syringe really tight and insert it into the vial and then release it). He ate fine tonight.

OT: I can't wait to go to bed.

I sent off a sympathy card today to my Sister's family. I don't know why it was so hard to buy one last night, and I guess it was because I needed the sympathy too. I found a web site for a flower store in Portland and am going to have a bouquet (if they're available) of some sun flowers delivered to the house tomorrow. I wanted something yellow and bright. And I wanted something non smelling, so the nieces wouldn't be bothered by a certain flower smell for the rest of their lives. I called my brother in law and I told him that I wasn't going to make it to the service, but was hoping I could come and visit for about week with the family, and in about a month. He didn't seem all that thrilled, but I don't know him. Maybe my brother in law wanted a big too do, or something... I don't know. He did say that he is going to move from Washington to Oregon, so the kids can stay in Oregon, so that's good for them.

My younger brother in Arkansas called, and said he just heard that the services were moved from Thursday to Saturday. He took tomorrow off, because I guess I told him that I was going to just be home and remember Kathy on Thursday. I asked if he wanted to come with me in 4 weeks, and he said he couldn't afford it and couldn't get the days off. Then he kind of waivered on the days off and said but he couldn't afford the plane tickets anyhow. I told him I would help him with the plane tickets, so maybe he will join me. Maybe not.

I'm off to bed now, as that's where my cats have disappeared to.
