Furball surprised me with that green this morning. I am leaving some extra food out today. I hope she surfs safely.

For those who didn't see yesterday, I did not get my new refrigerator. I had gotten bumped from the schedule and the delivery driver never called the assistant manager back to try and get it to me last night. They are supposed to deliver it at 10:00 this morning. Thankfully my Mom can be here. I can't take more time off from work. I wasted 1/2 a day's vacation. I'm very annoyed at Lowe's.

Those guys don't care who they inconvenience. They think you don't have anything better to do.

Wow on the refrigerator fiasco. :o Maybe they should offer you a 10% off coupon? Hope your mom doesn't have to wait forever today.
Hmmm, wonder if that 96 is the new pen? Either way, nice start for Furball. Hope she surfs it safely for you today :-D

Nice blue start for Furball. That really stinks on the fridge. I hate wasted vacation days. Hope you get it today. That is so nice that your mom can be there. Have a great day Carla!

Hi Carla! I hate wasting time off, Lowes should pay you for it :roll: . I hope that they show today early so your mom doesn't have to wait too long! And :shock: on the green wake up! I hope that Furball will surf in the blues today for you. Happy Fursday! :-D

Lowe's should take a discount off of their delivery free, is what I'm thinking. LAMESAUCE! Glad your Mom can help out. Hope the commotion doesn't disrupt any kitty naps. Pretty numbers today :thumbup

Carla, I would make a phone call or two if you aren't offered some kind of discount. Lowe's supposedly prides themselves on their customer service. Make them put their money where their mouth is.

I can so relate - just a week or so ago my DH arranged to work from home and I got up early (a big deal to me) and waited around all morning for the satellite installer that was supposed to be here at 9 am. He never showed and when I called DirectTV they said he never put me on his schedule! I wasn't a happy camper, and they heard about it! I did get a slight reduction in my monthly payment. ;-)

Furball, you need to surf safely today for your Mama, okay? :-D

I can't believe you didn't get the fridge yet. Anyway, Furball is looking good.
 
Furball was happy & purry this evening.

I finally have my new refrigerator. They were an hour late this morning and it took over an hour to get everything done. They had to take the front door and the kitchen door off their hinges. They had to remove the door from the old refrigerator to get it out and remove the door from the new refrigerator to get it in. I felt bad my Mom had to wait so long for everything. I am planning to complain to Lowe's, but I doubt they'll do anything. My Mom got a new refrigerator several months ago and they didn't show up when they were supposed to. She talked to a District Manager and all he did was apologize.

I'm sure that if you call Lowes and speak to a customer service representative they will make amends for their error. We had the greatest service from Lowes last summer, when the 'fridge in our camp broke. We ordered one online at 10 p.m. and it was delivered the next morning! And this to an out-of-the-way location that was 100 miles from their store. The store's computer didn't get the order to the delivery department on time and deliveries to our location were only once a week--that day. But because it was a 'fridge (something they deem that people cannot be without, unlike, say a washing machine) they contracted a "free lance deliverer", and we got our 'fridge. There was no charge for the delivery. We were really impressed with their service. You might relate this story if they give you any trouble.

Nice to see that green this morning, Furball. Now, can you do it on weekends???

I'm so glad the refrigerator came in today, Carla. It's such a mess when things like that go out! I would definitely complain to a manager. Even if they don't do anything but apologize, perhaps enough complaints from customers will lead to a change in their delivery practices. (Okay, so I'm probably being way too optimistic about that....)

Yay for green this morning! :mrgreen:
