3-29 Freddie Trial Day 6 OTJ

Freddie had such a wonderful day. He even stepped out side for a fresh breath of fresh air. His first test this morning was 66 but tonight I am not happy with the 134 testing. But he has eaten 2 times this evening and I gave him a glycol flex 111 bite size chew and then read not to give if diabetes. Vet sold them to me knowing that he was diabetic, can't believe it.
I can not believe one little supplement could raise his BG. I won't be giving that glucosamine, msm joint support again...I hope that is what made his higher no.
Although he has been drinking more tonight. But he has been so alert today. He is still having a hard time to walk though. I think I better take him in this week and get his potassium rechecked was real low at his last blood test in Feb. If he is still low he will need to have a supplement. It is awful to see him try and get around my heart just breaks.
One good thing it is day 6 that he is OTJ. hope all the kitties sleep good tonight...

it's very possible a treat could raise his BGs. absolutely, especially if they say not for diabetics. did it have a carb value on the label?

would you make a note in the spreadsheet about the 134 possibly being from a med you gave him, please? otherwise every time i look at it (or anyone else) they're going to question it.
