Re: 3/30 Tiki AMPS 385
He's really been an angel so far. He seems to be house trained as he goes right to the door whenever he has to go out. He hasn't chewed up or on anything that wasn't presented to him as a toy. He is ridiculously tall so counter surfing has occurred. I went out today to get him a crate (yes this is probably something I should have had when I brought him home) and left him alone for about an hour, praying for the best and he didn't get into any mischief, OTHER than getting into the catfood. I bought a baby gate hoping to separate the dog from the cat space but the bars were so close Tiki couldn't even get through, so back that went. I have found one on drsfosterandsmith.com that has an inserted small pet door so I think I will order that, and until then keep him in his crate. Initially, he wouldn't go into his crate but now he is sleeping in there with the door open, on purpose. I took him to meet one of the property managers (who loves dogs) today and discovered he is a little shy of men. Huh.
All in all things are going well. And my tears have only popped up briefly today.
