Happy Caturday, LL!
Yesterday's Condo: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=117418
Yesterday's Numbers:
AMBG - 72
+7 - 68 (Bad, bad bean for this pokey)
PMBG - 31 (RT-22)
+2 - 57 (Kinda a bad bean for this pokey)
Thanks again for all of your visits yesterday. I have now regained my self-control and will limit myself to our allotted two pokeys a day. Marje... no need to fly out here and take away my pokey sticks....yet..... ;-)
I was really proud of myself this week (until yesterday, that is). I have been letting early-bird DH get the worm (the morning pokey) most days without too much of a fuss. Of course, the beep of the meter always wakes me up, and I then scream at him "What's her number?" as I lie in bed. It's become a nice morning ritual for us.
I am very happy to report that the fluffer is feeling better today. Almost all traces of niceness are gone.
PPIGS Report:
Picky: No pickiness to report - perhaps due to a PMBG of 31? I really wanted to break out the high-carb food, but I thought better of it. Throwing me that low PMBG may have been part of her master plan to receive a Twinkie. (To those who are new to the board: Jersey is NOT currently on insulin. If she WAS on insulin, I would treat this as a hypo emergency and feed high-carb food/Karo.)
Plotting: Attempted. Jersey tried to knock the dust buster onto my head again last night on her way to the top of the cabinet. I, of course, was hunkered over the lb at the time. Luckily, she failed. The dust buster hung precariously over the side of the shelf, and Jersey hung precariously off the side of the cabinet.
Inside-Outside Game: Played. Numerous times. I had to go pluck her out of the shed last night, in fact. Hmmmm....I wonder who's been knocking the stuff off the shelves out there? ;-)
Growling: Absent. She's probably still suffering from a touch of the niceness. I anticipate that she will be fully recovered later today.
Stalking: She has once again stalked something (that darned cat hair dust bunny, air?) into the spare bedroom and has scratched open the doors in an attempt to capture it.
I am so excited for Boots today as he moves from an OTJ trial to OTJ. flip_cat I'm also sending out extra-special prayers for Lucy, Cinco, and Zener today. Lots of prayers continue to go out to Rachel, too.
After reading through condos yesterday, I believe a lot of beans are especially stressed out right now for a number of different reasons. I'm keeping all of you in my prayers (I have a lot of prayers to go around), and I'm sending healing vines to all of your kitties.
Have a great day, LL!
