Yesterday's Condo
Yet another day of Board wonkiness. I'm sure the Powers That Be are working hard to fix the problem but it's so frustrating. I can't read or comment on anywhere near as many condos as I'd like, because it takes forever to load anything, and half the time I get an error message. I know, I know. I'm preaching to the choir. Sorry. Rant over. For now.... ;-)
Cinco seems to have settled pretty well into this dose, and is giving me lots of lovely low blues, but where did those greens go??? I'm wondering if I should think about fattening the dose a drop, to see if I can kickstart something? I don't think a full-on dosecrease is warranted, but I feel like he's getting a little too comfortable here - or do I just need to put on my patience pants and give him a little longer? He continues to do well overall, and I'm so happy about it!
Food testing report: I think I can definitely rule out all the BFF flavors as options for us. There's always someone that likes them (usually Cinco), but the Sasha and Harvey are so-so, and Minka is solidly two paws down. I think I won't buy anything new that isn't a pate from now on, since it's pretty clear that's what the preference is. Once I've got a decent list of fuds they'll all eat, I plan to make a chart of them, showing all the protein, carb, phos, etc. values to show to their vets, since they always ask what I'm feeding. I'll be cutting and pasting from resources here - Dr. Lisa's list, etc. It's so lovely to have that info available. Thank you to all who put that stuff together and share it with us!! :YMHUG:
Sasha had an excellent appetite today, after a small barf yesterday afternoon that required laundering of the comforter on our bed (a pain as it's so big, but that's the reason I got a bigger washer this time!). She eventually ate all the BFF Chicken and Tuna I gave her (over several hours), as well as a little FF and some NV ltd. ingredient lamb. She gave me a scare last night as we were getting dressed to go out. She's always had this little tremor going on - it comes and goes and the vet hasn't been concerned about it. Last night she was sitting on the bathroom counter looking at me and her head was shaking from side to side - like someone with Parkinson's disease! I was really concerned about it. It stopped when she moved or I would pet her, but started again when she sat still. I was pretty close to cancelling our plans and calling the 24 hour vet when it stopped. She seemed fine otherwise, and it hasn't happened again, but I'm keeping a close eye on her. I swear, having four geriatric cats is going to give me a heart attack or something one of these days! It's always something!!
Well, I want to get this posted while the Board is being cooperative (anti-jinx)!
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: Not much longer for Davidson/Davison (what is the right spelling???) and we'll be partying!
