Yesterday's Condo

Okay, we all stick together on this board, right? So will someone promise to come bail me out if necessary??

I was on my way downstairs this morning when the DH called out to me: "He was high, but I don't think it was right".
Me: "What was it?"
DH: "400"
Me: :shock: {gasp} "Did you retest?"
DH: "No."
Me: {deep, cleansing breath} "Why not?!"
DH: "Well, he gets poked so often......"
Me: Unrepeatable in mixed company. :evil: angry(2)_cat grumpy_cat grr_red Followed by lecture on ALWAYS retesting if you get an unexpected number. :YMSIGH: No jury in the world would convict me!

Sooo, I have no idea where Cinco was before his shot, but at least he's more or less where I expect him to be afterward. He was really hungry this morning, scarfing down both his first and second breakfasts with no hesitation at all. I am still leaning toward a dosecrease tomorrow, but we'll see what today has in store. BTW, the leg is doing well - skin is healed and fur growing back.

I tried the pill pockets again this morning for Sasha, with the pills in gelcaps and the Forti Flora coating. It took a couple of attempts and some extra sprinkles, but she ate them both! YAY! dancing_cat Happy dance indeed! Wouldn't it be wonderful if this works throughout her treatment (anti-jinx)? Paws crossed. She's otherwise doing well - no increased sniffling, one small sneeze, great appetite. Bean is trying hard not to hover but I understand Amy so much better right now!

I want to get this posted while the board is up, since it's been so unpredictable today. If I don't comment on your condo, it's not that I don't care, it's that I can't get into it! :sad:

Tricia, I know how you feel! I finally got tired of the stupid numbers that were so un-China'like and went back to the 1.5...amazing how much difference 1 drop can make!

Come on Cinco! We're a team here! You're not doing your part!

How frustrating that your DH did not retest. But, at least he is willing to help you out. I'm glad Cinco's leg is better. That's great you were able to get Sasha to eat the pill pockets. I'm glad she's still doing good. The board is driving me crazy too.

Yep, I think you can just ignore that unmentionable number. It's really not a big deal that DH didn't retest since the preshot test is to make sure it's ok to shoot. I'll PM DH with my address so he can send the payment for getting him off the hook. :lol: :lol: You better head to the lagoon, Cinco, yer bean is getting twitchy. Yay for Sasha eating the pill pockets!

:lol: Oh, Tricia. I have laughed and laughed and laughed over this. ohmygod_smile :lol: It sounds so much like some of the conversations my DH and I had. Don't worry - if it comes to it, I'll testify on your behalf. Of course, having written evidence of your true thoughts published on the internet may not help your case! :lol:

Glad to hear the leg is healing well. I'm sending out lots more vines for Sasha!

Shelly, I'm glad I was able to pay you back for all the laughs you've given me with your entertaining condos. I sure miss them (although I'm glad you don't "have to" do them!) ;-)

Liz, I realize it isn't a huge deal, as long as he's not low at PS, but I just get so frustrated that my DH doesn't seem to absorb the things I tell him about dealing with FD. He just uses his own logic and thinks that's the way to do it - he's just being a guy! I'm sure he appreciates your support, but I control the checkbook! :lol:

Carla, I know I am lucky he is so involved. I just wish he would retain the stuff I tell him about dealing with the numbers. :roll:

Chris, please tell China Cinco said he didn't feel like swimming today. Maybe China will be there for him to join tomorrow. I already told him absolutely no lagoon visiting tonight while we're gone!

Ahhhh....yep, welcome to my world! Ironically, I hate when anyone hovers over me if I'm sick, yet I can't resist the urge to do it to my kitties :roll: ohmygod_smile !
