WCR: All Ps in place. Appy was ok this morning. Got some btb snuggles and more snuggles when I finally got up and plopped myself onto the couch. She started bugging me around +10 for her dinner, so I gave her some PureBite treats...which I got to see again about 20 minutes later...ewwwww. I started her new Lantus pen this evening. Her appy has been a bit iffy this evening, but I haven't been here much to encourage her. Ok, she just finished her overnight snack. yay!
OT: Hamlet (horse) wasn't feeling much better tonight...still has a temp and lethargic and not interested in food. I gave him some more banamine and called the vet to get advice, etc. However, since we just lost a mare on the property due to liver failure (most likely due to poisonous plant - crotalaria), the vet felt it necessary to come out and draw blood and give antibiotics, etc. That is where I spent most of my evening...monitoring my boy. Needless to say, I'm a bit worried. If his labs come back with elevated liver counts, I don't know what I'll do.
Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!
