Happy Monday. Healing vines today to all who need them. And comfort vines for all those with an aching heart. We've had too many in LL lately.
I woke up really early this morning (about 4 am) to a sweet, purry girl snuggled all next to me. I drifted off back to sleep and she woke me up at 6:20 am with little, tiny, soft licks to my eyelids :lol: :lol: :lol: We used to joke how Gus's kisses could peel the skin right off your face. He was nature's exfoliant :lol: :lol: But Gracie gives these tiny, soft butterfly kisses; it doesn't even feel like her tongue is raspy but I know it is. I've been working out of our office at home today and she's been sprawled right under the ceiling fan on her back; that very soft, red belly fur just moving in the breeze. So adorable.
Yesterday, I was dreading the huge bounce from the very fast dive and low numbers on Saturday. Thankfully, it didn't come but I do think she is bouncing (at least I hope she is) and paws crossed she will come back down to green. She started to yesterday but I had to give her some carbs as I was at our neighbor's daughter's graduation party. I ran home to check her and when I saw she was coming down, I decided I better give her something to get her to just stop. It worked pretty well but she did end up going back up yesterday.
