It looks like the combo of a new vial and new dose is kicking in this morning. He woke me again at 3 a.m. and at 4 a.m. I gave in and fed him. He wouldn't stop meowing and even got up on the bed to head butt me. I feed him at +5 or 6 but he just gets hungry between 3-5 a.m. He got a large tablespoon of lc.

Have a great holiday weekend if in the U.S. and everyone else enjoy your weekend as well. I'm also ssending healing vines to those in need.

Yes, Julie, he sure does. Do some cats never stop bouncing? I just would like for him to be able to stay in a healthy zone for most of the time but it seems like that is impossible!!

Have a great day as well, Julie.

Update: I give up! Now he is bouncing from being in the high blues! Or else the new insulin isn't good. She said it was stored in the fridge until I got it so I doubt that is the issue.

The only up side is Max doesn't need to be poked as much.

MORE STINKY PINK!!! He seems to feel okay though.

I agree with the upside of pinks.. not having to poke the ears so much.. Even though I am using the generic 'extra-strength' neosporin Rocky's poor ears are pretty red and look sore. He's not as cooperative about the ear pokes as he used to be too.

Hi Marje. I'm really scared to see these high numbers. I wonder if its the insulin not being potent. My vet won't be in the office until Tuesday and I can get more then. I posted on today's list asking if I should increase again until then. I could use my old stuff that is a little over 6 months and used to work or this new vial that I was told has been refrigerated until it was brought to me. What if it isn't the insulin being bad? What else would cause this? He is acting fine otherwise.

My mom is doing well. The surgeon said the damage to her finger was extensive and it was a difficult surgery. Her finger will be very stiff and he won't be able to take out the pins and wires as that is what it is holding it together. It isn't bothering her now but I don't know how she will feel about it when the bandages come off and it is hard to manipulate. Thanks so much for asking.
