Nervous. Today is Paul's sleep in day. I measured 4 times to make sure I got it right. And shot. Always worry about fur shot. Appreciate him shooting lots. nailbite_smile

Bounce day? Dropped below 40 yesterday, reduction to .5u yesterday evening. Think we are still on the high carb whip.

You're doing great. I bet Paul loved getting to sleep a bit. You deserve one too. :)

I know you did. He's just got 3 shots of this 0.5u dose and tonight does look like he is clearing a bounce.

it's possible that tonight's numbers are still being influenced by the previous dose. Both Dyana and I think it's worth taking the reduction to 0.25u tomorrow morning. If it's not enough you can go back up, but some cats go down the dosing scale in a crazy, leap-frog, not orderly way at all. If he were mine, i'd take the reduction.

Perhaps others will weigh in on the reduction.

Are you doing ok with carbing-poking? can you get him up over 50 instead of letting him hang in the 40's? sometimes that's difficult, but if you can, it would be good to have that safety margin.

I got him up to the 68 at last test. I am more comfortable in the 50s than the 40s. Paul would like to stay low for healing.

Will share your post with my husband, and maybe we will try the .25 tomorrow?

PS, It does feel like he runs down some steep stairs very quickly. :o And the climbing back up takes along time, until suddenly he leaps two and three stair at a time.
