Not much to report today. Trying out Pagan's new 2u dose, hoping this is still a bounce that needs to clear. Minimal testing until more test strips arrive. (Went through those faster than I anticipated!) I'll probably do another curve on Sunday to try and get more data.

Hi there! So you actually started the Lantus back on March 11th? Really glad you are hometesting. Can't wait to see how this new dose works out for Pagan. :mrgreen:

Hi Paige! Yes, we started Pagan on Lantus back on 3/11/10. We worked him up to 3u gradually, until he gave his mommy quite the surprise by dropping down to 68! We're now giving the 2u a go and seeing how he does with that. I'm really anxious to get him regulated so his neuropathy will have a chance to resolve, but I'm trying to be patient.

I'm going to assume you aren't home for most of the day. Are you able to get a +1 or +2 in the AM and a test when you get home? Also, can you get some PM spot checks. A before bed check every night would be helpful.
