6/12 Trixie AMBG 150 "+3.75" 62 PMBG 133

Yesterday

Our hearts are broken by the sudden passing of sweet little Bisse...our prayers go out to Helle.

There isn't much to report in Trix's world today. We continue with some assisted feedings, while her appy does seem to be slowly picking up on in its own. I do still have to present the plate to her, and she still really only eats small quantities when I do that - but those small quantities are slowly getting bigger. Again last night, I only had to give her one syringe, because she ate enough from the plate throughout the evening. I did give her two syringes in the morning, but I also had to work so I didn't have all morning to offer plates of food to see if she would eat enough on her own.

To me, she looks like she may be filling out a bit....regaining the weight she lost from being sick.

Aside from her appy issues, I think she is darn near being her old self....so snuggly and lovey dovey with everyone. And, she loves her kibble scavenger hunts again! She will move cat beds if she thinks kibbles are hiding underneath :lol: !

I'm off today, and while I have household stuff to catch up on, I don't have to run any errands...yay!

Prayers continue for J.D. and Melissa's drooler Charlie.

Nice greens again today. She does try to throw you off with the AMBGs. Silly girl. I'm so glad she is eating better and not having to be syringed as much. It does take awhile to regain that weight, but she will get there. Have a great day off Amy!!

Trixie and Shasta have been chatting again...I'm having to hold her plate a little less and she seems to be feeling a bit better, too. Thanks, Trixie! And she looks fantastic this morning...nice numbers! Love to hear that she's feeling a bit more like herself...kibble hunts and swapping beds. These are great signs for Trixies: the search for kibbles and friendly behavior. The syringe feeding is work, but I am glad she is needing less.

Trix just nearly CPCed almost 1/3 of a can of Purina One (Fancy Feast sized can) in one sitting....this is a new record !

Amy, do you ever weight Trixie at home? You comment made me wonder if she has gained weight since the p-titis started to abate.. Did you notice if she lost any weight after it started?

I think that's a very good Trixie report. Did you write Young Again for samples? Max likes the treats. I haven't given him much of the food itself yet. It is rather pricey but if he likes the food I might get an 8 lb bag as give him some but not exclusively. The have more than one type. I was sent the 0 carb ones.
