Happy Caturday. Tons of healing vines to Sasha, Zener, Lucy, and a little extra for JD even though he started eating again.

I loved the "Sacred Order of the Sassy Cat" that Deborah left on Gracie's condo yesterday. Boy does that fit the bill! The speckled king snake that hangs out around our house in the summer was on the back patio this morning. Gracie and Tobey did their usual run from the picture windows in the great room back down the hall to the door in the office. So many tantalizing and potentially tasty treats just outside of their reach.....birds, lizards, a snake, ground squirrels. And the young bobcat, Joey, was asleep in one of the planter boxes this morning. A full house of wildlife entertainment for the Dynamic Duo. Tobey had red juice stain all over his face. I think he ate too many strawberries at the full strawberry moon party.

The Sassy Cat and I had a long night last night. I'm kinda dragging today. She's snoozing because she's a cat and she can :lol: :lol: She's also got a bit of a bounce plus I think I kind of made it worse (higher starting point) because I overcarbbed her. Shame on me but I had to get some sleep. I don't think it makes the bounce higher but I think the carbs slow down the effects of the insulin and so the BG goes up and then if they bounce, it's added on to that. So....patience. And napping

We appreciated all the visits yesterday. Unfortunately, I had to deal with some significant mom issues late yesterday afternoon into the evening. I think I finally got dinner at about 9 pm. Hopefully, tonight will be quieter on the mom front.

Her facial expression and the yoda ears express very well how she feels about Lupita.

That is quite a "peaceable kingdom" you have outside your doors! Poor Gracie and Tobey, on the inside looking out!

Rusty says that Tobey and Gracie were a big help with the Full Strawberry Moon party, especially Tobey. (Princess Gracie was Princess Gracie).

Hope you get some good sleep tonight!

I see Gracie has been spending a lot of time in her green gown lately. It's a lovely color on her, but she needs to take it off to be cleaned and slip into her blue robe for the evening. Hear that, LBG? Mama needs sleep!

You must live in the foothills to have so much wildlife activity in your yard. At least you don't have to take visitors to the Desert Museum - they can just sit and watch your patio! :lol:
