Hello everyone!! I hope all the cats are doing well.

It looks like it might be a flat yellow day, but at least Billie is down from yesterday's numbers! She seems to be in good spirits. She has some rat toys that she likes to play with at night (while meowing wildly), and she was up late "hunting" last night She always starts this game about 5 minutes after I turn the lights off, and when I wake up, I find the rats all kinds of strange places.

Stinky pink again tonight. Is it normal for a fur shot to mess her up this much?

I think the fur shot happened at the start of a bounce, because she dropped from 200 to 114 in just an hour and a half during the AM cycle on Sunday, hit a nadir of 89, jumped up to 311 at PMPS, and then the fur shot happened. So, I guess it makes sense. Bad timing for a fur shot!

hard to know if it's from bouncing or if some of the shot didn't get in. she might have gone lower last night too, her numbers are straight up from amps this morning to pmps, which might suggest she was lower before this morning's 179.

Just wait it out! she'll get back on track and i imagine that you'll see greens before long.

I am almost completely sure that Sunday's PM shot was a fur shot, and I don't think any got in. It felt like there was a split second between Billie darting away and me shooting - enough time for her to move but not enough time for me to react and not push the plunger, and her fur smelled like she put on some insulin perfume.

It is interesting that she went straight up today too. I didn't consider that there could have been another bounce from last night.

It's a bummer to have a setback after we were seeing progress, but I know that's how it goes! I will be waiting it out. Thanks :smile:

hopefully she'll get back on track very quickly. if she did get lower last night, which is what it looks like to me, it shouldn't take long at all.

i've had those moments where punkin moved as i was shooting. i usually (always) shot him while his face was in his bowl, but even so, they can move at the worst moment!
