Tip got in to my corn last night! :-x I walked away for just a second to get some salt and pepper only to see a small ear of corn gone! I guess it was sweet corn or something because her blood sugar jumped up quick last night and hasn't gone below the yellows since then. Thankfully my brother managed to wrangle it from her mouth, but she had already gotten half of it.
They also had their yearly check-up yesterday! I was wiped, so I didn't manage to post a condo or really update anyone on that. But turns out Tip has just started developing a cataract in her left eye, but it's still just a few tiny specks according to the vet. Christmas's wooshing they heard last visit has also became a full-blown heart murmur. Given their age(14), the vet is thinking it's a leaky valve, everything else seems pretty good with them. Keep up the good work. Tip is down a few ounces in weight, and now considered the perfect weight!
Christmas is up in weight, they plan on doing bloodwork to test her kidney values next month.
