Despite yesterday morning's foamy spit up incident that resulted from my meds screw up, my little glutton made a reappearance last night :-D ! She had a great evening of chowing down from a plate...still presented by MamaBean, but eating is eating! She only needed one syringe feeding last night...that was enough to get the ball rolling.

She's not quite as enthusiastic so far this morning, but she's still eating well. She even followed me around for fuds, even though she wasn't super-excited about what I offered.

I don't know, though...appy is still funky, but at the same time, I do feel like she's taken a few bigger kitten steps these past few days. It's something in her eyes and demeanor...the kind if thing I can't quite describe, but I think you guys know what I mean. Even though I think she's looked pretty bright-eyed in general, lately, her eyes and mood seem even brighter, if that makes sense. It's like she lost her confidence from the pancreatitis, and now it is finally starting to come back. She's eating more readily and confidently, even though I usually have to hold the plate for her. She is all over the house again, rather than keeping herself to just a few spots. She's making all of her snuggle rounds.

Hopefully, as long as MamaBean doesn't screw up the med schedule again, she'll continue with these bigger kitten steps!

I'm still sorting through pics for her OTJ party. I was hoping to be done last night, but I only got up to 2012. Holy moly, we have a ton of pictures...not just of her (although there are a lot of those), but of all kinds of stuff. And, of course, a lot of the kitty pictures are mixed in with everything else.

I'm off today...chores, hanging with kitties, picking out more pictures. Have a great day, LL!

Nice!  I did wonder a couple of weeks ago whether the pancreatitis flare got something going. I think Trixie's OTJ story ranks right up there with Mocha's, LL legends.

I am sure you can tell that she is feeling better. I am glad that she is making progress.

Hi Amy,
I am so happy that Trixie is feeling better and better. :-D

My little glutton seems to be on the scene again so far this evening  ! She wasn't too thrilled with the extra pokey, but with a slighter higher than usual PMBG, I felt the need to make sure Mr P was in working order tonight. Sorry, Trix....I guess by now I should have known!

My civvie, Petey, is being the anti-glutton today, though. His demeanor is fine, but his appy is off. I suspect he's working on a hairball, as his appy usually does falter right before he delivers, but it is always nerve-rattling until I see the evidence. C'mon, Pete...MamaBean can't take any more inappetent kitties....
