All is fairly calm in Trixie's world today. She's still feeling a bit feisty about gelcaps, but I've managed to get them down in under 5 attempts. I have no idea why the other night was so insane with her...I guess 'cause she's a cat, and she thought I was getting too comfy or something   ! If the pills weren't so vital, it would be kind a cute and funny the way she smacks my hand away when I try to get the pill in her mouth.
Yesterday Tricia asked if I ever tried wrapping the gelcap in cheese. Trix has never had cheese, so I don't know if she would go for it or not. DH and I are vegan, so we never have anything like that in the house. I tried cheese (got it from my Mom) once with one of my civvies and he didn't know what to do with it and wouldn't touch it at all...silly cat  !
Petey's appy is still...odd. He's eating, but he sniffs and sniffs and sniffs the bowl before he tentatively starts. I've seen him do this before...he has lots of sensitivities and tends towards hairballs, so hopefully it will pass soon. The rest of his behavior is 100% normal...energetic and begging for tons of attention. You'd think after years of these on again/off again issues with him and his 2 littermates, I'd be used to it, but it always still rattles my nerves, and now with all we've been through with Trix, I am EXTRA hyper-sensitive about it. Big sigh....crazy helicopter worry wort MamaBean.
Time to get ready for work...I was bit too leisurely this morning, so no pre-work workout today.
Still sending quick healing prayers to Tricia's civvie Sasha. Have a great day, LL!
