Been browsing the computer and need to get cat and run to J.D.'s acupuncture appointment before we're late.
He ate well this morning, and we had a long walk on a beautiful spring like day.

He seems like the acupuncture appts are reducing his bgs and perhaps relieving some pain. he's definitely looking good after them. can you tell a difference in his mobility?

No, not really. He still walks slow. I did find him sleeping with me when I woke up on the couch in the middle of the night last night.
I told the vet that before three weeks ago, when he had the pancreatitis flare for 9 days that he was jumping up on the couch and my bed and climbing his cat tree. I guess I got 1 out of the 3. I just want all 3

I told her that I try to walk him twice a day and about the stairs and she said the stairs should be good for him to climb. I live on a small hill, so there are stairs in most directions when we go for a walk.

I am about to take him out now.

I'm glad I didn't give him any R this morning. I thought about it, but waited until +1 to see if he was bringing himself down.

What a handsome cat he is! Thanks for sharing the pics. I hope the acupuncture helps him feel better. It does seem to help his BGs.

Dyana, I love the pictures of J.D. and Ginger. That is great that he goes for walks with you. He is like part dog and part cat. I like that. The walks are probably great for his mobility. Sending prayers for the acupuncture to be helpful as well.

Aww...wonderful pictures, and JD looks like he's really enjoying life!

I never noticed before, but what a cute "necklace" he has! That one band of white fur is such a neat pattern!

Wish I lived in an area as beautiful as it looks like you do. I'd love to be able to safely let the kitties out to enjoy the sunshine, the clover and walks through the woods like that.

Hope as you go forward with the acupuncture, it starts to really make a difference!

Thank you for the wishes for the acupuncture to help. I hope so, too.

I really think this other doctor near where Amy works will be better, but we'll see. That first initial exam and acupuncture all over again is next Saturday.

J.D. was hungry at +11 and we were out for a 3rd walk of the day, and he was chowing on some grass, and because he only has 3 fangs and maybe 3 other teeth it's harder for his to just chew on the tips of the grass, and so he tends to pull up whole blades and tries to eat that and often throws up because of the long blades he's swallowing, but luckily he did not this time.

1st Dinner has now been served and et. J.D. is snoozing on a towel on the wood deck, and Ginger is stalking mourning doves.
I am tired myself as no btb happened this morning.

I am always amazed that you take J.D. and Ginger for walks. We have so many dogs around here that it isn't safe. Paws crossed that the acupuncture helps your guy.
