Seems as charlie is finally getting some where on the new dose.
Just start to transition my cats to raw. I started with small diced chicken thigh. Charlie and my youngest Sadie took right to the raw pieces my other two Tommy and Lola needed it mixed with canned and a little freeze dried toppings.
I have really noticed a difference in Charlie's behavior since switching to lantus. He has become way more vocal and not only does he grooms himself but helps the other cats get to those hard to reach places. I have a feeling that once he is regulated he will be as active as a kitten. He is also playing fetch with a wodded up piece of paper.

cats seem to like it when their blood sugar doesn't go high-low-high-low on them. Lantus lasts longer in the body than some insulins, especially the Vetsulin, so that in itself might be helping him feel better. I noticed with punkin that he liked plain high better than fluctuating numbers.
