Yesterday's condo

I THINK I may have an answer to the wonky numbers! Over the past several days, China hasn't been eating much of anything when I've fed her...she always gets fed first so I can see how much she eats, then the civvies get theirs. Since I can't afford to feed the monster cats raw or Fancy Feast, they get the big cans of Friskies.....today I didn't feed anyone Friskies...only got FF and a little raw and China's numbers are coming back down

Hopefully that's what's been going on, but if it is, I'm not sure what I'm going to be able to do about it since I can't keep feeding everyone else like this.

I have a list of errands to run, but I'm sticking around long enough to make sure China's going to surf and not continue to drop since she's so close.

Hopefully Cinco is down by the lagoon again and they can keep an eye on each other while their mamabeans are busy!

Well, looks like China went straight for the deep end and didn't wait for Cinco. Of course, I'm not home so for all I know, he's right with her! Hope she comes up and surfs so you can get your errands done.

Which kind of Friskies are you feeding the civvies? I'm just curious, because you thought that was making China's numbers go up. The pates are low carb, so if you're feeding them another variety, maybe you should switch them to the pate and that would keep China safe, too. My kitties all loved most of the Friskies pates, but I stopped buying it, and FF, when Harvey's kidney numbers went bad. Now that we've got him back to normal, I thought I'd let them have the lowest Phos flavors once in a while, but when I gave them one last week, no one wanted it! Guess they've moved on. :roll:

The Friskies are the pate's, but they're in the 8-11% range (the mixed grill is 11% but they don't get that often) and what she usually eats has been the raw (1%) and FF (4%)

At this point, it's the only explanation I have, so I'm going with it...LOL

After waiting 2 hours for China to come up, she only made it 6 points, so I went ahead and ran some of my errands....with China loving to sit right on that 50 yard line, it was either get a few things done or be out all night doing them....Silly cat....LOL

Nice surfing today for China. She does like to be dramatic. I hope that is what is going on with her numbers so you have an answer.

Looks like I'll be up for awhile longer...LOL

I really don't mind though....I've been so confused about her higher numbers lately, that I'm just happy to see some "normal" low ones....a little too low, but that's how China rolls! :lol:

For heaven's sake, China! Give it a rest! It's past closing time at the lagoon. Even the Lagoonmeister has packed it in. I see you're headed towards shore, so keep on coming and crawl up on the banks for the night, okay? Cinco will keep you company. Mama could really use some sleep.

I see what you mean about Friskies, Chris. I usually fed the ones that were 6, 7 or 8, but if she's used to 1-4, that could be the difference. I hope she comes up a little more and lets you get some rest.

I know you're not looking forward to your next PT session, but I'm sure it'll be good for you in the long run, so I'll send you some good vines for it now. Hope you're less sore after this next one!
