Yesterday’s Condo for Shadoe

Not a bad start to the day for Shadoe; hopefully we will see some yellow and bloos today.
She's still acting better, so that's a good sign.

She has the best internal clock.
Oliver started trying to wake me this morn by scratching on top of the covers around 330am; he really needs to adjust that clock as I am NOT getting up to feed him at that time. I am positive that he has cleaned every plate in the house overnight so he is far from starving.
Booboo is the next to try to wake me by short sharp high squeaky barky meows in my face. She just barks and if I don't get up right away, she takes off in a huff.
Shadoe is the boss and when she finally jumps up and walks all over me with her rock solid 14lb body, I usually get up because she is very very close to test time, about 30min prior. Shadoe has made a fine art out of getting me up by trying many things to see which ones annoy me the most. She is too big for it now, but she used to sleep right on top of my head and when I moved, all her nails would come out so she would not fall off.
She has the most effective methods to be sure.

I don't know about her dose. Although she had a few bloos, I would like to see the same today or else I'll go up .5u tonite and see if we can get rid of the pinks. We'll see how it goes today.

A nice sunshine yellow for +2.5 is a great start to cycle 6; maybe we will be able to stick around here, but I would still like to see the pink gone, so it's too early to say what we will do tonite.

We did a bit of the furminator brushing this morn. She has next to no loose hairs, but she absolutely LOVES the feel of it I guess because she had the little tip of her tongue out and was purring like no tomorrow all through the combing. I felt bad to stop but she has literally no stray hairs.

One thing for sure is that she is more relaxed today.

We are parking it now; this dose looks to be good to get to bloos.

Shadoe is noticeably more at ease; you can see her surfing along, just loving the feel of the bloos.

And now we're cooking with some decent numbers again.
She needs longer front legs so she can stretch out and get even more relaxed; it's very good to see her like this again.

Those pictures are stunning. I cannot believe how their coats just shine.
What a gorgeous family you have.

And look at these numbers for Shado. Almost green.
Looks like this dose is starting to settle in.

It's funny with the furminator.
When I used to use it for Max, I would get enough hair out of him to make
another cat.
For the girls, nothing.

It could be partially that Shadoe and Booboo are forever cleaning themselves and each other, but poor old Oliver is left out.

Also, he has what seems like a very coarse and different textured coat whereas the girls have much finer coats with next to no undercoat.

I have always brushed the girls even though they self-groom but I don't know what sort of grooming Oliver had before. I don't want to 'upset' him with the grooming, so I have been doing it in short spurts, less than a minute each time, giving pats and treats after for being a good boy. He has tolerated the brushes and comb, but the furminator is weird, as if he loves it.

His coat has definitely improved but I know there's more undercoat where that bag's worth came from. I'll do some more tonite.

I love stopping by every day to see your latest photos. Shadoe looks so good that I may have to look into getting one of those Furminators.

Your girls have very shiney coats. They look healthy and content.
It always amazes me how they invent ways to wake us up. :lol:

Shadoe's hanging in there; still yellow at pmps and lots of nice bloos.
Shadoe must have been listening and came to her senses or rather down to her bloos.

Goodness, where did out bloos go? They took off already?
I think maybe she gave her low numbers to Oliver and that's why he's doing well.

One of these days, they will both have a good day together.

Fell asleep watching TV but her +7.5 looks OK. Even if she is going up or down, it's still yellow!
it seems she has decided to take a short trip to RBC after her bloos earlier, but I am putting emphasis on 'short'.
I hope she is listening.
