I'm am sorry I am so rushed in my posts all the time. I am spending a lot of time with emails and the Feline Assisted Feeding and Feline Pancreatitis and Feline Anemia groups.

J.D. started Baytril last night. In total he got 40ml of MaxCal last night and also ate some spoon fed MC FF Medleys.

This morning, he started his syringe feeding at +11.5 an got 10ml of MaxCal. He got another 10ml at +0.5, and I need to give him another 20ml in a few minutes.

We had a nice long walk this morning. He did eat a couple of bites of FF Chunky Chicken when we got back from the walk.

Happy belated birthday Dyana! I hope poor Ginger is feeling better today and her tummy has calmed. Sending more vines for JD, and hoping his appy picks up for you. Nice that he got to enjoy a good walk today

I gave J.D. some R at PMPS. He ate some Authority Beef Pate that I picked up last night at PetsMart.

I made an order of test strips, syringes, and IAMS Maximum Calorie at 5:00am last Friday. I was expecting the order to be delivered already. Expected delivery date was today. No package. I called them and they said the IAMS Maximum Calorie is not stocked in their warehouse and needed to be sent (from some dealer) to them and then it would be shipped to me. The lady said that it would be probably next Wednesday before I receive it. In the mean time, I have 1 can left.

So, tonight, I ended up using my new (from the Christmas present I bought for myself) Magic Bullet and blending about 1/2 can of the Authority Beef with 1/6? can of IAMS Maximum Calorie and J.D. has had three 10ml syringes of that so far.

My luck hasn't been so good this evening. I got home, and gave J.D. his meds and first syringe feeding and meds and logged onto the computer. I wanted to go swimming and logged off the computer to change and walked all the way to the pool to find it closed (again!). The life guard was still there and I said "why are you closed?, you are supposed to be open until 8:00pm" and he said he saw lightening . No soaking for the glass in my foot tonight. Then, I wanted to get the cats out for a walk, and did some dishes and was just done with those to get the cats out, and the minute I opened the front door it started pouring rain.

Hey, at least J.D. stuck his head in the Authority Beef and kept it in there for a good long time .

I'm off to bed. I was up way too late last night.

I'm glad to read that J.D. ate some of the Authority Beef on his own. Good sign.

Boo on the slow food order. What the heck takes them so long, anyway? You might check with your vet and any others in the area - I'll bet they have a few cans of a max call food on hand.

Sorry the rain ruined your walk plans. I'm surprised you can go for a walk with glass in your foot.
