Yesterday's Condo

We didn't get home until 10:00pm last night at +4. It was thunder and lightening outside, so I carried J.D. in his carrier for the long walk from the car to the condo. Normally, he walks and pees and sometimes poos, on the walk home. So he didn't get that walk. He peed as soon as he was let out of the carrier, when we walked in the door. He did, as is his habit, chowed down on a bunch of Ginger's left over food right away, and that was it for eating regular cat food out of a bowl.

I have to type fast, because I'm late. As always. He got 50ml of MaxCal during the evening.

This morning, he is constipated, and is trying to poo. He never did yesterday during the day. I gave him some Miralax with the last syringe feeding.

Okay, I got to go.

Have a great day. Send eating vines and poo vines to J.D., please. I am sending healing vines to all who need some.

Again, I am sorry, I haven't been around on the board much these days.

J.D. ate some FF after PMPS, not his normal amount, but almost.
I came home to three hard stools separated. He got some more Miralax tonight. He just got his Bupe, and I am heading to the pool to cool down. Then, we'll go for a walk.
This morning, once I told him to walk to try to poo, he just kept walking and walking and walking and walking. cat_pet_icon

My order of MaxCal came today. Yay! I got two cans from the ER vet and that lasted me until today.

Off to cool off.

you don't need to apologize, dyana. you've been a morning angel for a long time and right now you need to take care of yourself and JD. it's ok. :YMHUG:

I just wanted to share the discharge paperwork J.D. got from the ER last Thursday night/Friday morning.

J.D. is walking with his tail pulled in again and I think it's either from constipation or anal glands.

These are the questions I have in my list so far, to ask the Internal Medicine Doctor, next Monday.
Why does he sometimes pull his tail inward and kind of drag the end of his tail? Check Anal Glands.
Should he get another cobalamin test, and does a high one like he got one last year of >2000 cause any problems?
When he eats, his teeth make a clacking or kind of scraping noise. Can you see anything that could cause this?
Is it okay to give him Frontline Plus at this time?
Please talk to me about his anemia.

Time for another syringe feeding and then sleep.

I should share, that last night I didn't get home from work until 10:00pm (+4) and syringed some food to J.D. soon after. I wanted to syringe some more (since he hardly ate at work) at 12:00am, and I set an alarm, and it was next to me on the couch, but alas, I did not wake up to it.
I woke up at 2:00am instead to both J.D. and Ginger acting like they were trying to wake me up, and J.D. was purring. He doesn't purr that much, lately. I was concerned that I slept past his feeding time, and I brought the purring kitty up onto the couch with me and gave him some cat treats and he purred away while eating them. Then I tested him and he was 417. I wonder why he was purring and trying to wake me up.


Tonight, I put out some FF Whitefish & Tuna with some extra water with Miralax at PMPS, and J.D. ate a pretty good (for him, lately) amount. We went for 3 walks tonight. I just put out some just tuna water with some more Miralax and J.D. drank some of it. Hopefully, it will help his poos to come out easier tomorrow.

Anyway, night night.
