+11: vomit (working HB?)

Our continued prayers to Rick. Many healing vines and prayers to Lucy, JD, Zener, Tiggy, Sasha, Tricia, Trixie, Sabrina, Lola, Elise's Mom, Amy's Dad, Wendy's Mom, and Molly's Dad.

Gracie is doing well today although she continues to have these recurring small vomits at about +11 of the p.m. cycle which is about 6 a.m. here. It is usually a hairball although occasionally just clear vomit and then within the next day or so, a hairball. It is hot here and she does bathe a lot. We brush every day and then I wipe her down with a damp cloth to try and get all the excess hair off her but she must be pulling more loose when she bathes. She isn't compulsive about bathing....normal cat stuff....but she has very soft hair. After she vomits, she plays, and she's eating well. All else is just fine with her (touch wood). I'm going to talk to Dr. B at our next appt which is in a few weeks so she can recheck her ears.

Finally saw some green last night so perhaps the new dose is working. Her hop up in BG late last night and early this morning probably has something to do with the vomiting. It often does. But she's back down in green (although got there a little quickly).

Have a great day!

Sorry about the vomiting. I hope it's just from the excess hair. It's nice to see that green. Go Gracie.

Good to see Gracie back in green on the new dose..err..perhaps you put an extra 9 in that +6 # or that was a huge bounce/dive

Wow what a nice slide for Gracie! I hear you on the hairballs, yuck! No matter how much I comb, brush and wipe Tiger down, I can't prevent those hairballs. Hope Gracie feels better!

Thanks, Ruth. She feels great....she was just chasing a little fly around that I could barely see   we had this same thing happen last summer at the same exact timeframe.

Well...it's possible the bounce has begun although we fed her MC late in the cycle. We don't want to go the R route yet....even a tiny amount...because we want to see how fast she clears on her own on this dose.
