Recap of yesterday's #s:

AMPS 140, 1.50u, 41g Evo 95% C&T, Cosequin
+1 - 37g Evo 95% C&T, Cosequin
+2 64
+7 102
PMPS 128, 1.50u, 41g Evo 95% C&T, Zobaline
+1 - 37g Evo 95% C&T, Cosequin

WCR: AMPS weight=10.64 lbs., and monitoring closely. Food will be increased again beginning AMPS +1 to 38g, for a total of 156g (5.5 oz.) At this point, my main concern is to get her weight back up a bit. I'm not sure if the reason behind it is that she could possibly be moving a bit better with the extra Cosequin capsule, or not. My hubby just told me this morning that it looks like that she is moving a bit better. I see her every day, so I can't tell as much as he can. Right now, my main focus is to try and keep her from dropping weight so quickly. If this keeps up, we'll be heading to the vet's.

Sending tons of healing vines, positive thoughts and prayers to whoever needs them.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone, including Blackie, to have better #s... For everyone, including Blackie, to be OTJ.

Morning Angela ~O) ~O) ~O)

Beautiful BG's Blackie, keep those coming.

I am glad that she is moving better, I would think that could be a contributing factor in the weight issue. Good vines being sent for a little weight gain.

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Her weight is dropping. She was maintaining around the 10.70's range, but now she's below that, hence I'm having to increase her food. I had to increase her insulin about 5 days ago to bring her PS #s down some.

Good morning Angela, extra sweet Blackie and the rest of the crew!

You asked about our approach with KT in our condo - I answered there but I'm going to copy it here for you too:

.......KT isn't 'normal' - we've struggled repeatedly with numbers, diving/bouncing, health, poop, eating, Lantus, NPH and now Levemir. He doesn't eat overnight, never has, he dives and bounces like a big rubber ball, hands me stOOpid low numbers in the mornings. The whole discussion about this approach is the second link in our first post. There were lots of good suggestions and thing to try with him. He's been diabetic for 3+ years...

Here's a link to the discussion: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=122420

BIG HUGS!
