7/29 Shasta

WCR: All Ps in place. Shasta's in a pretty rotten mood. Very irritated that "those tile people" are back in the house today. I also think that the smell of the grout/thin set is really affecting her...I know it's affecting me...poopy headache. Her appy is really off.

OT: guys will be back tomorrow to grout the floor of the shower and finish up. I'm a tad bit irritated that they replaced my shower head with some cheap looking thing. I want my moen shower head back. :-x I don't care if it doesn't match the decor...that thing is a beast when getting shampoo out of my thick hair!!!!

I'm sorry the smell is bothering you and Shasta. I hope it goes away quickly once they're done. Nice slide to blue for Shasta today.

Nice blue today, Shasta. One more day then a new shower! Too bad about the shower head. Can you salvage the old one and put it back on?

Hi Deborah,
I hope the men finish up their work tomorrow. Did they throw out your old shower head? All those fixtures are uniform, so you can always get a new one like the one you had (or find out where they stashed the old one).

Hi Carla, Liz & Ella! Thanks for peeking in on us today. We're still not feeling well. Her appy is ok (better than this morning since "those people" left), but head is about to explode. Even the chiropractor couldn't fully fix this one. :cry: She's much higher (BG) tonight than expected, well, I saw it coming. I gave her some 4% FF Turkey & Giblets at +10 because she hadn't eaten much in the day and I just hate when I know she's hungry. And then we had a very strange shot tonight. I shot her in a different room and it was at a weird angle. I don't know. Just strange.

Well, I called the tile guy and asked about the shower head and he said that he had it in the truck and they'd replace it tomorrow. I know it won't match the new "chrome" hardware they installed, but it's amazing and I'm pretty sure that cheap thing they put in its place would have gotten thrown out on night one! :lol: So yay! I'll be able to take a real shower Friday night...I think! :roll: :lol: Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit easier on Shasta (and me!)
