Thanks everyone.....there is a reason I didn't have kids yet, because I like my sleep. Oh well.... :roll: Three late nights in a row is starting to take it's toll. I sure hope Marje is right with the direction he is going as that is what is getting me through the late nights. He really does seem to be on a mission.

Tricia, I am not sure, I am going through the seasons much faster than I thought. However, I do have all seasons of Leverage and there is always the fall back.....Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Eventually I would like to binge watch NCIS: LA. Right now I fall asleep to Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly and Sean Murray. Who wouldn't want to fall asleep to Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J?!?!? What can I say, I am a T.V. junkie.

Really hoping we have a quiet night tonight, so I can go to bed by say, 10:30 (which is his +4). Then hoping to get a second wind this weekend so I can get all the stuff done at my house I need to.....

and just to show how I tired I am, I thought I hit submit on this about 5 minutes ago.....

I totally get that I SHOULD like it this way, as I do not have to worry about him while I am at work, but might someone take him aside and explain to him it doesn't have to be one or the other? That he can, in fact, have a nice smooth surf during the day AND that same night? :roll: Good thing this cat is as cute as he is :lol:

Chris - if his getting in trouble means that I get a decent night sleep tonight, I am fine with him getting in trouble :lol:

So I should clarify, the fear wasn't regarding a fur shot...I know I got it all in, but I think when I was trying to measure the 1.75 I pushed the plunger too much and (I am gonna go ahead and blame sleep deprivation) it did not register until after I had given his dose that I gave him probably 1.25 or 1 u instead of the 1.75.

I was finally able to get the half marking syringes tonight along with his back up meter. However I was so sad when I went to pick up seasons 9 & 10 of NCIS to find out those were not part of the $13 deal and alas, were like $30 each. So I guess I will have to find something new after season 8. Can I cry? I will get over it, I am sure. It may take awhile, but I will get there.

I know I want to go slow with the raw food transition and Saturday night will be a week that he has had 1/4 can of 5.5oz NV wet chicken and 1 teaspoon of NV raw chicken. I am wondering if perhaps tomorrow night, I can add a little more raw and take away a little wet? He seems to be doing VERY well (knock on wood) with the transition from dry to wet and seems to enjoy the raw after it unfreezes. If it seems like an ok thing to do, what ratio of wet and raw should I go to next?

Go to 2 teaspoons raw and reduce the canned by a teaspoon...if he tolerates that, just keep adding a teaspoon raw and removing the wet until he's totally transitioned....and get a scale so you can keep track of his weight so you'll know if you need to back down on the food or give him more

Nice cycle today! Ended almost exactly where he started!
