Heading BTB for a bit....getting up extra early to shoot in order to go to my niece's birthday dinner? Now THAT is love.....

Pretty sure that Skooter got like 1.5u instead of 1.75u due to my super sleepy eyes..... :roll: oh well, what are you gonna do?

Sending healing vines to my mom for a speedy and safe recovery.....Sending "not so fast" vines for Skooter so that he doesn't do a dive too quickly in his AM or PM cycle today.


Still thinking of Mariko, Lucy and Ginger.....sending many love and comfort vines to them today.

I really hope Skooter is ok until about +6 as that is when I will be home next....

I am thinking I might leave out some LC food for him to eat, I know he will probably eat it all now, but hopefully that will slow him ever so slightly so I amnot so worried at work......

Not sure this "knowledge is power" thing is a great idea for me before going to work lolololol

Please send some slow down vines to Skooter.....

Surprise, Surprise, he didn't listen to anyone and had a mind of his own :roll:

He has been nadiring (is that a word? If not I am making it one) on the early side of his cycle, so here is hoping his LC lunch will help bring him back up.


For tonight, I am planning on T/F/S at 530 and be home from my niece's party by +2.5 to +3.....If I feed him a MC meal for his first meal tonight, that should take care of it, right? Or should I base the LC vs MC choice based on what his PMPS is? If yes to THAT question, what is my LC vs MC number?

Thanks for keepin an eye on this one....he is a bit of a rebel.....

So I am gonna be T/F/S in about 15 minutes and then need to leave pretty much right away.....

I guess I will go with a mix of the LC and the MC???? and be home by +2 or +2.5 to test him....

I don't know why I am so worried....oh wait, I know....cuz I am a worry wart!

If there are any other thoughts I would love to hear them!

Remember, the new shot won't really "kick in" for a couple of hours.

Go ahead and give him a little MC with his LC if it'll make you feel better and go have a good time!!

sorry no one caught your question before you had to shoot. i think this is one of those that you have to just base your best guess upon what you've experienced with skooter in the past. the answer would've depended on what the pmps was as well. if he'd been at 65, that would've been different than 108.

do you have a timed feeder yet? i'm thinking you were going to get one. they help both when you go to work and for occasions like tonight, when you wanted to go out. then you could set the feeder to open at +1.5, +2, +2.5 and +3 to keep him going until you got home.

We, and of course by "we" I mean "me" survived!

I gave him his normal shot and his normal dinner, then I left some MC out for him in a different area so he would hopefully get it later and not eat it all at once....

I came home and he had not touched the MC and was 86! I think it just now sinking in that I 1. shot a 108 (second lowest ever) 2. left him alone for a couple of hours and 3. the world didn't end!

It was a nice dinner with my niece, sisters, brother in law, so I am glad that I went.

So now status quo: NCIS season 9 is on....thinking a short nap is in order as I have a feeling it MIGHT be a wee bit of a crazy night for us....I think he is itchin for a reduction, just don't know what is holding him back. But all in Skooter's time, as it should be. His body will tell me when he is ready. HOWEVER, Skooter if you are listening....1.5 WOULD BE a helluva lot easier to give than a 1.75, just saying.

As for the timed feeder, I ordered it last week and just got an email it is on back order and not sure when it will be in. I sent a response back asking if they completely cancelled the order and I need to get it from some place, or if they will be getting one in soon :roll:

No worries about people being around....I put on my big girl pants and just went with it lolol

Good to hear you had a good time and you got out of the house and the world didn't come to an end!!

Next time it'll be a little easier...You know Skooter pretty well and you'll even have more data to support your decisions as to when it's safe to leave and when it isn't

Well looks like Skooter has decided momma can get a GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD night sleep.....

Take a nap until +5 when I will test and give him his fourth meal o the night....then hopefully it will be back to bed for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......

setting the alarm for 1130 (+6) and feeding him now....

He sure loves these roller coaster rides, just not sure where he gets it cuz I hate them!
