10cc Core 5% just after AMPS and at +0.5, +1, +1.5, +3.5, +4.25, +5 (Spreading out his meals a little more due to hairball nausea.) and snack of 10cc at +9.
10cc Core 5% just after PMPS, +0.75, +1, +1.25, +3, 3.5, 3.75, 4.5, +6.25 (I'm not comfortable going to bed when he's that low.), +9


Yesterday's values:
AMPS 71, +1=85, +3=75, +6=96, +7.5=79, +9.25=116 (after +8.25 snack)
PMPS 118, +2=103, +4.5=96, +6=71, +9=78


The numbers are not as good as they were yesterday, but he did get an extra serving of food last night (+6.25). He was off to a similar start last night, so I'm sure we will see them drop shortly. My poor little guy is having some trouble with hairballs this week. I'll be posting this question in the Gen Health forum as well, but what do you guys use for hairball relief? The stuff I usually use has apple powder in it, so I'm afraid it would bump his numbers. Suggestions?

He's much less nauseated tonight. Along with the return of a decent +6 I'm hoping that he may have cleared his hairball. We will just have to wait and see. I'll be giving him small amounts of egg yolk lecithin to help further break up hairballs and, hopefully, prevent recurrence.

Hi guys .. well can't complain too much about that number .. I bet green isn't too far off! And knock on wood, we have cats that don't get hairballs that often .. Have a great day!

a little butter, olive oil or coconut oil can all help the hair pass through.

there are several people who find hairballs increase BGs when the cat is trying to work the hairball out.

everything under 120 is normal, so Shadow's still in great numbers.

I don't have any diabetic-friendly hairball ideas, but Shadow is lookin' good! I hope he is rid of those nasty hairballs, soon. Have a great afternoon, guys!

Those are still good numbers for Shadow today. I've used Vaseline in the past for hairballs, but I don't know if that will raise BGs or not.

He's bumped up to 127 at +6, so I'm hoping that hairball is getting ready to come up soon. I gave him a little coconut oil to help grease the tracks. ;-)
