8/16 Trixie AMBG 180 "+3" 90

Yesterday

"Stay on your toes, Mama!!!" Trix loves to keep me guessing with her numbers, that's for sure! All is well with her...appy good, social, snuggly, feisty. She was almost a little TOO feisty at pill time....it only took 3 tries to get it down, but she was definitely in a "mood" and I could tell if I missed the mark one more time, she was going to growl. Poor girl....she puts up with so much nonsense.

No word from the hospital about when my Dad's port will be installed...grrrr. At this point, feel like too much time has been wasted waiting around for doctors to be available and really want to get the ball rolling....but it's out of our hands. I can't thank everyone enough for all the support and prayers these past several weeks or so....they are obviously working, and they have given me a tremendous amount of comfort.

I keep saying this but I swear something is in the air. Max has needed more than one try with the gel cap lately and I was pretty good at one and done. He is making the ear pricks a challenge as well the last few days. Prayers continue. I hope you get a call by Monday about the port. Waiting is a real challenge but luckily you have lots of practice with patience pants, :lol:

Ms. Trix, why oh why must we go through the formality of a +3 when you can just go ahead and give a super duper number in the first place?!?!

It's nice to see Trixie bring herself down to that green. It is so hard to wait for things to get done, but it will get done. Keeping your dad and your family in my prayers. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Looks like Trixie's feistiness extends to her AMBG! She loves to keep you guessing for sure. I'm glad she comes back down, though. I guess her pancreas just wants a little exercise to prove it's healthy.

Waiting is the worst, especially when you know what needs to be done and want to get started. I hope you hear soon.

I so understand how you feel about the waiting, and the DRs... been there with DH. It seems like one waits forever to get things scheduled. I wish the best for your dad.
