I did not get up and test for 8 straight hours last night. That's not to say I didn't wake up. At around 1:00am I found J.D. sleeping on the floor next to me, and he may have tried to do his thing where he jumps or tries to jump up on me and then purrs. So I picked him up and laid him on my chest and tummy and covered him with my blanky for some snuggle time. At +9 (3:00am), I spoon fed him a good bit of LC Cod, Sole & Shrimp. At +10, I tested and was able to sleep for just a bit more.
When I woke up, I saw some very wet diarrhea going each side of the opening of the litter box that J.D. mostly just J.D. uses, so I am thinking it was his. On our first morning walk, J.D. had a nice sized, formed, and slightly soft poo outside. After our second walk, he came in and just missed the pee pad in front of his litter box to give me another soft but formed poo. I think I'll try to reduce the Miralax back to 1/8 teaspoon BID. I don't know. I just raised it to 1/4 teaspoon last night. Anyway, if the vet wanted me to keep him on Flagyl because of the diarrhea, then maybe she has a point.
J.D. ate (or rather mostly licked the juices from) some FF Trout Feast this morning after AMPS, and ate a bit more after that.
I am going to try to sleep for just a bit more, if I can, and then we have to get ready for tbp..
