If Billie could stay flat in blue until PS time, I'd be a very happy camper!! But I'll take what I can get. Wendy, thanks for stopping by last night - I am definitely leaning toward backing off the duck. I have only heard two coughs so far today, which is encouraging, and her skin is still improving. She was madly in love with Turducken for a while, so I was thinking it would really suck to stop giving it to her, but lately, she hasn't been as excited about it. I'm pretty convinced that they changed their formula, because the consistency has been different lately. So, maybe she won't mind a switch.

I got some very sweet cuddle time from Miss Billie this morning. She lay down on top of me and did some kneading on my shoulder. She hasn't done that in a while, so maybe it's a sign that she is feeling better? I sure hope so!

What a nice slide for Miss Billie today! It sounds like you could be on to sometime with the duck causing her allergy issues....fingers and paws crossed that you have your answer!! Nothing like a good kitty massage to start your day...so sweet of Billie to do that for you. Have a reat one, Deanna!

Thank you Amy! I hope so! I didn't get the blue PS that I wanted, but yellow is better than stinky pink. I really want to see her in green stretches again soon. Paws crossed. I haven't heard any coughing tonight (anti-jinx)! She could have coughed without me hearing it or while I was out, but I haven't heard anything!

Hi Deanna, looks like the beginning of a nice slide down for Billie, blues may be in the near future! I am so glad to hear she isn't coughing, hopefully she isn't itching anymore either. I was wondering how much much she drinks daily, or does she? Any other dairy products? I know you suspect the duck, but I wonder if it could be the milk products causing mucous?

Hi Ruth! Thanks for visiting and for the ideas! She just coughed a bit more, but not as much as she had been. I was wondering about the dairy too. I don't think she is allergic to it, but I was actually thinking this morning that the cottage cheese I am using with her ABs could be making her coughing worse since it thickens the mucous. I'm going to try mixing the ABs with the juice from canned chicken or tuna and see if she'll take it like that. Under normal circumstances, she just gets parmesan occasionally if she's not interested in her food. I usually see her drinking water once or twice daily. She drinks more if her numbers are high, and also if she is dropping fast for some reason. I hope Tiger is doing well and hope her paw is healing up!
