Jenks had such a great day yesterday, and an equally good start to day, but we're paying for it at the moment with a very ugly bounce.

Though a 65 & 57 are technically equivalent when the variance of the meter is taken into account, this is the first I've seen him still decreasing into shot time. That's definitely something we're going to have to start keeping an eye on.

Ugh, 334 PMPS. On the bright side, I'll probably be able to go to sleep early.

You go Jenks! Clearing that bounce like a boss!

A 270-point drop in 7 hours is impressive, but I'm going to have to keep an eye on him to make sure he's starting to flatten out and surf for the rest of the night.

Seriously Jenks, 334 to 41? With 3 hours to go? Who needs sleep, anyway?

Two tsp HC gravy + karo in. Now we wait. I don't think Jenks is very carb sensitive, so we could be at this awhile until we get him above 60. Is it still a pajama party is the sun is coming up? :lol:

I think we're seeing the karo kick in right away, but we're going to have to be extra vigilant because that's also the first that will wear off. And if yesterday is an indication of how he's going to behave, he's going to continue to sink through AMPS. So either I'm going to have to just power through until then and handle him personally, or maybe get him around 100 before unleashing him on OH. That way, if he sinks a bit, it will still be in the safe range.

Gave a second dose of HC gravy and karo.

Ok, 62 at +10. Third round of gravy and karo is in. Now we'll just play the waiting game and see what he does. He's in the safe zone right now, but that could change at any time if the karo wears off before shot time. Looks like I might be sticking around until AMPS *ugh*. Regardless, he's definitely getting a dose reduction. This is two times in the last three days that he's dipped into the 40s.
 
111 now. Looks like I might've overdone it with that third serving of gravy.

Anyway, I think we're going to go down to 5.25U starting this AM and see how Jenks works it. A couple days ago I adopted the 3x under 50 rule, but tonight's 41 was just a little too low for my tastes.
