Michael....you are going the wrong way!!

Is it possible he got a fur shot?

Re: 9/6 Michael AMPS 312 +2.5 475

Hi Molly,
No. I checked the syringe and nothing squirted out.

Re: 9/6 Michael AMPS 312 +2.5 475

I should have checked his spreadsheet first....I agree with Darin.....you have yourself a bouncing boy!!!

He dropped from yellow to green in yesterday morning's cycle and spent a bunch of time surfing it (GO MICHAEL!) His body isn't used to those lower numbers yet, so it wants to compensate with the dreaded bounce because even though WE know he is in a normal range, for HIS body those greens were a low warning sign to him.

I noticed when Skooter was first bouncing and getting used to the lower numbers, when he dove down fast and far, like Michael did, the bounce comes back just with as much gusto as the dive did.....as Michael gets used to the lower numbers, you should see the bounces not as long and not as big.....

So Mr. Michael.....get yourself safely down to the pinks again please....and then slowly work yourself into the yellows perhaps tonight......and maybe even a high end blue? Let's slide down nicely so we don't bounce again....

Keep in mind -
Bouncing - You caught a 51 yesterday AM+5 however he could have gone lower either before or after.
Dose - He has had 2 reductions over the course of the last 4 cycles.
It may take some time for the dust to settle.

At any rate, what goes up must come down. For testing strategy today, I recommend you get a +6 and a +10. That way when PMPS rolls around it will help you figure out which way he may be headed. Like you did yesterday :-D

And give yourself some credit - you are doing a great job!

Remember, the sugar dance is ever changing. One day a tango, the next 3 a rumba, then a cha-cha. . .
and just when you think you may have it figured out - they do the 'twist'

I will tell Michael he needs to listen to Auntie Molly

Good luck getting that to work....I can't get my cat or my hoomin niece to ever listen to me, so lol....but maybe Michael will :)

He will clear his bounce soon enough I am sure :)

Re: 9/6 Michael AMPS 312 +2.5 475

hi paula,

sorry to not stop by your condo yesterday, but you were in good hands with sandy, wendy, & marje's help. They are all just as experienced as me. And Darin has learned a ton and is great help, too. i had an out of town appointment.

I saw Tricia answered you about the PetSafe 5 Compartment Feeder. I didn't use an ice pack with it. I put one or two ice cubes in each compartment that had food in it. The ice keeps the food cold and as it melts it adds a little bit of water to keep it from drying out. It would be safe to leave for a full 12 hours (overnight, for example) for Michael to have food when you need to sleep.
I'm looking forward to seeing what Michael's +6 and +10 are, as Sandy suggested.

Re: 9/6 Michael AMPS 312 +2.5 475

oh, and i don't have a video already on that feeder, but if you want me to make one on how to use it, I can do that.

Re: 9/6 Michael AMPS 312 +2.5 475 +6 369

Thanks, Julie
If you make a video, that would be great!
We all missed you yesterday. I was in good hands!
The support & help was wonderful since I shot my 1st low # since M has been on LC food.
Today, a whole different story. Michael decided he missed his bouncy ball yesterday, and today he found it.
Boy did he find it :!: Amps 312 +2 475 + 6 369. He is so confused :dizcat just like his Mamma :?

Re: 9/6 Michael AMPS 312 +2.5 475 +6 369 PMPS 379

Hello again

This cycle presents a good opportunity to get a +10 or +11 tonight.
If you can swing it, the data will be very helpful in filling out the picture.

It may also help you figure out what dance steps he has in store for tomorrow ;-)
