Okay, very funny. Now someone please switch the cat back. It's obvious to me that this is not my Cinco. I don't know if an alien has come to earth and taken possession of his body, or what, but this is not my cat!!! Another beeooootiful, green surf? Are you kidding me?????
Yeah, baby!!
I was so glad that my DH works from home on Mondays, 'cause when I saw that +2.5 I was really concerned we were in for another dive, and I could not cancel Sasha's appointment. Luckily, DH was able to test while I was gone, and even more luckily, Cinco is surfing. Green. Surfing green. Wow. I don't know what's going on, but I sure do like it! :thumbup
I took Sasha to UCD this morning for her pre-chemo evaluation. They said they would need her 3-4 hours and sent me home. I stopped on the way to wash my absolutely filthy car, and while I was there the oncologist, Dr. S, called. She said that the chest x-ray was clear - no cancer!
She said all but one test of the bloodwork was back, and all looks good.
Kidneys are fine
, so as long as that last test is good, she wanted to go ahead with the treatment. I said fine. Then she told me something that about knocked me off the bench I was sitting on. She said the chest x-ray revealed two small bones in her upper back that are fractured!!
She said they went back and looked at the last x-ray they took, at the completion of her radiation therapy, and they were not broken then. She asked about a fall or rough wrestling, and I told her no on both. Sasha has jumped down a couple of times from a counter or something and landed hard, but there has never been any sign that she was hurt. I asked if we could have done it by picking her up wrong (it's a little awkward to try to grasp a cat missing a front leg). She said no, they wouldn't break that easily. She said she'll show them to me when I go back to get her this afternoon. Since then I've been wracking my brain, trying to figure out what happened. I'm so afraid it was something I did when trying to get a pill in her, or when I grabbed her as she tried to get away from me during an aloe rub down! I have such a terrible short term memory that I cannot recall an incident where we saw her fall. Of course, she could have done it when we weren't there to see it, but she had given no indication of being in pain. I'm driving myself crazy about this and am very anxious to talk to the doctor some more and see the x-ray. Geez? What next?!!! Wait, don't answer that!
Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF and Elise's DM. Also for J.D. & Dyana.
Hooray for Cairo on the last day of OTJ Trial!!! Parteeeeeee!!
