J.D. ate a few bites of MC when I got home from work.

I gave him his meds/supplements and syringe feeding and just gave him his bupe.
I am on my way to WalMart now to get the generic Zantac.

Can anyone remind me how many hours before or after meds/supplements Slippery Elm Bark should be given?

I use a pill splitter. I can get to the 1/4 tablets. When I try to split the 1/4 tablets into 1/8th tablets, I am not getting an even cut and mostly end up with pieces that are more than 1/8th, and a few much smaller pieces. Should I throw out the ones more than an 1/8th, or the bitty pieces? What do you guys do?
I've only cut 2 tablets up so far, and put most of the bits and pieces in an old empty Ondansetron pill bottle that I will label "Zantac". At 98 cents for 10 tablets, wasting some is fine with me.
