Greens coming back condo (09/10)


I am super sleep, got up to test Skooter several times last night as he went under 100....I wanted to see how long he would stay there, but after +7, I was too tired to get up anymore....

I will not be able to check on him today....training AND a hearing this morning and then we have a work picnic this afternoon....so I should be home around +8....

He has not really eaten out of his feeder lately, until I come home and move the food from the feeder to a plate :roll:

Hopefully once he realizes today I will not be home to move the food from the feeder to the plate, he will go for it and eat out of the feeder again.....now to get my laptop to stop making funny noises......

I will be VERY curious as to what his PMPS number is and how he does on this cycle.....

Beauty of picnic day? I get off work 1.5 hours early I could've gone back and taken time a different day, but I am ALWAYS the one who has to go back and I didn't get a chance to check on Skooter at all today, so I wanted to get home to see him and check on him....good thing I did or I may have missed his green! It isn't very often he has a green number this late in the cycle, so will be very curious what 6 p.m. brings us...

A much cooler day today, very fall like (my favorite time of year).....so gonna see if Skooter will snuggle up and take a quick nap with me

He did actually eat both meals today! I added a very small ice cube to each of the sections of the feeder.....I was thinking maybe it was drying out a little more than he cared for which is why he wasn't eating it.....I also moved the time of the second feeding from 1115 to 1215.....I am actually thinking of changing it to about 200 or so on days I know I will be coming home to check on him, as I feed him when I get check on him during the day...that way he is getting an additional snack.....

So he would have food at +3 and then +8 in addition to the +4 to +5 when I am able to come home at lunch time.....

I would like to get to a point where I have one day a week I don't have to come home....it gets pretty exhausting coming home every single day....if I have to, of course I will....but it would be nice to have a lunch where I am not running.....plus once winter comes, depending on weather, I wont be able to come home every day....

Skooter! :shock: Take it easy! It's not a race to the bottom of the lagoon.

To me, it looks like possibly his PMPS was a little mini-bounce, and the momentum of him bounce clearing hit about the same time as the next dose was onsetting, hence the big drop. My guy likes to do that too. I've found sometimes drops way before nadir can require a little more carb "oomph" compared to lowish numbers that are closer in time to nadir. Hopefully a little more LC will get him on his surf-board.

I can commiserate with you here. Eddie and I made it through last winter, but there were days I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to make it home from the office for a lunch time check or whether I'd be able to get back to the office after driving through 3 foot drifts and glare ice with my non-MN winter appropriate Civic. I learned (sort-of) that I had to keep a little closer eye on the weather forecast the night before and take a closer look to see what road conditions were like in the morning to decide whether to leave extra food out in case I couldn't make it home. Hopefully we're a little ways off from that yet. :roll:

As a reward, I shall wait til +5.5 to test again....unless I feel compelled to do it at +5, which I probably will lol
