YESTERDAY'S CONDO:http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=125849

Looks like a bounce is starting for Max from the night before last. He might have gone into green last night but I doubt he went too low. I did stop testing at +5 with a 109. He was meowing for food this morning and licking his empty (pretty sure) plate. Max was also uncomfortable again from whatever is bothering him. I will definitely see his vet next week. My car has been in the shop for the last few days plus he seemed to snap out of it yesterday. Of course my phone wasn't handy this morning when it happened. It's the noises and then he threatened to bite me when I was trying to shoot the side of his belly. Every time I picked up the skin he acted like he was going to attack. I almost shot in the scruff but on my last try he let me shoot. Strange.

Happy Rosh Hashanah to those who celebrate. Prayers and vines to all in need.

I'm waiting to hear about my car and then will head over to my mom's. Max won't be bothered with more tests until pmps.

Max, it's nice of you to give Mama a permission slip to go out today, but it isn't necessary to go so high to do it. You could just slide on down to the yellow floor and hang out with Cinco today. He's still kind of groggy, but I think he'd like the company!

Sending good tummy vines for Max. I hope he feels better soon and doesn't need a trip to the vet.

I hope Max clears the bounce soon. Hopefully the vet can find out what is going on. I hope his tummy feels better this evening.

HIi Carla. It's not his tummy. His appy is good most of the time. I'm thinking some type of pain. I don't know. I still hope to get a video of it. He was snoring today. I hope there's nothing in his nose or throat. It doesn't happen all the time though. Very puzzling.

He will likely go higher and not clear the bounce tonight.

Does he make the grunty noises when he's bathing, by any chance? My civvie Frankie does that...she has sinus issues and I think she gets congested. She also snores...I swear she's almost as loud as DH sometimes.

These kitties, they do have their moments when they throw us. Max being fussy over his shot reminds me of how Trix was about her pills last weekend. It was so strange, the fight she put up for two mornings - and only those two mornings. But, if you think about it, WE have our off moments, so I guess the kitties are allowed to, too - as long as they are passing moments, at least.

I hope Max breaks that bounce....and it STAYS broken. Ok, Max? No more bouncing!!! I hope you can have a relaxing evening, Elise!

Has Max been checked to see if he has arthritis by chance? Remember I told you that when I stepped on poor Tiger, the vet thought she had aggravated arthritis in her legs? Bupe helps that pain, but it made her so woozy and constipated. They offered to give us more but I haven't gotten any more of it. Tiger also snores, but not all the time(allergies?) And occasionally, she snuffles when she's trying to eat, but it isn't all the time. Our Vet said they could do an US, but since it isn't all the time, they aren't thinking it is necessary.

Hope your car is back and that your mom is feeling better!

Hi Amy. Max does make a lot of noise when he eats at times. When it happens after he eats he seems to be very uncomfortable. It doesn't happen all the time though.

Ruth, the radiologist commented on arthritis in the spinal area and I do think he has it in his back legs. I test him in the bathroom and put him in the sink. A few times when I put him in the sink he meowed and hissed which made me think I got him in a bad position for his hind legs. He only sometimes gets on my bed too for which he needs to use a condo as steps. That is one of the things I plan to discuss with my vet. I'm going to bring him in next week. I wanted to get his BG back to Max's normal first but I can't wait any longer. I'm going to ask for adequan.
