Yesterday's Condo with Sasha Chemo Update
Happy as I always am to see green, Cinco is pushing me a little closer to the funny farm today. It's looking like a nice, safe, green surf, but who knows when he might suddenly get the urge to DIVE!!
Luckily, DH is again working from home, so if Cinco is showing signs of dropping (and even if he's still surfing), I can have him test him while I'm gone to the dentist. Right now I'm wondering if we might have to do a BCS tonight, since we are shooting early and will be gone at least 6 hours. Gosh, I hate to mess with this momentum! I'm also considering the 18 hour thing. Not sure which would be better. I might wait and make my decision tonight when we test him.
Thank you to Wendy, Amy and Carla for visiting my very late condo from last night. I hope Cinco heeds your advice and behaves today and tonight!
Another successful AB dosing!
A little bit trickled out of his mouth, but I was generous when measuring for just that reason. I guess it doesn't taste too bad, as he didn't react the way they do when something tastes nasty. I offered food right after and he ate a few bites, but wasn't really hungry - he'd had a big breakfast about 45 minutes earlier.
Sasha is doing well this morning. Her appy is so-so, but that isn't terribly unusual for her. Since she moves around less than she did pre-amputation, she prefers many small meals to a couple of big ones. I can work with that. I'll start the Ondansetron tomorrow morning, even though she didn't get sick last time until the 3rd day. I don't want to take any chances. She was starting to get out of her t-shirt this morning (had her leg inside it) when I went to feed her, and when she tried to get up, over she went! I took it off. She is much happier neked, but I don't want her licking away the little bit of downy fur that is finally growing on the big bare area of her side and tummy. I'll probably put one of her sock sweaters on her when I go back upstairs . She doesn't mind those as much.
Gotta get a move on and get the boxes scooped and dishes washed before I get in the shower. Hope everyone has a great hump day!
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF & DH, Elise's DM, Wendy's DM and Chris.
