Hi Elise and Max! Did you get the test results back yet? Interesting how he jumped up at +3.75 and then back down. Is that a food spike? or is that meter variance? Hope you are doing well tonight. Hows mom doing? I know...all these questions.. just curious and concerned.

Max slept all day. I just got the blood test results. My vet called earlier to say all was fine but a couple of things have me worried. His calcium was high 11 with a range of 8.2-10.8 and his Na/K ratio is high 44 with a range of 32-41. The office is closed now so I will leave a message for my vet to call me. Does anyone know what these could mean? I also see that his potassium which is usually around 4-4.1 dropped to 3.5 and I will ask if I should supplement. I think that could explain possibly some of his behavior. His glucose there was 255 and he had +2 glucose in his urine. I'll post all the labs with his ss for comparison.

My mom is not doing well at all. She is sleeping way too much also. My sister is going to take her to the doctor tomorrow.

I just tested him and his BG is 397. Yikes!!

Ah, Elise, I'm sorry the BW results left you with few answers and more questions. I hope you can get some clarity from your vet tomorrow.

Max, wake up! Sleeping all day? What do you think your are, a cat? Oh, wait.... :lol:
