10/13 Trixie ABMG 122 PMBG 92 - Trix's Winter Hideout

Yesterday

Nothing much going on here in TrixieLand. I skipped her "+3" follow up pokey since she was close enough to range to buy herself a break.

Appy is happy, but a little finicky - about freshness, about binder vs no binder, and about where she wants to eat (she is leading me all over the house again...sniff fuds, move to another spot, sniff fuds, move to another spot, sniff fuds, move to another spot....ah, just right! Will chow down now.) It's making me a little crazy....it's time-consuming to roam the house with her, and it stressed me out because I just want to get those calories into her!

Despite that, she is snuggly and bright-eyed and energetic. I can tell when appy isn't happy versus when appy is fine but Trix is "in a mood", and this definitely seems like the "in a mood" version.

This is her favorite winter hangout...and my nemesis. She loves it in this basket because the console table is over a heating vent. She loves it so much that she wants room service while in it. Given that I'm a pushover, I oblige....but it is no easy feat. I hate when I see she's in that basket at the times I want to feed her. But, she always gets what she wants :roll: :lol: , so I contort and struggle and balance the plate as best I can, so she can stay all nice and toasty and lounge-y while eating!

Eat your fuds, Trix!! Why is it that we either worry about them not eating or how to get them to lose weight? Can't there be a happy medium. You show us that one, okay Trix?

Nice start for Miss Trixie today. wow on the fuds spots. Funny how they have to have that certain place to dine in. I love the basket, her winter hangout spot. But I can see too how that could be hard to feed etc in.

Tess will definitely let me know where she wants to eat too. "Iwill set here until that plate is moved over a foot so I can eat it!" :roll:

What a nice cozy snuggle spot, i suppose you could just slide the whole basket out, give her her fuds, and slide her backinto the console! :lol: :lol:

Maybe you could cut a little hole in it towards the bottom so you could "slide" the food into her?...LOL

My 3 are all jockeying for position on the heating vents too. As it gets cooler, everyone has to try them all out and fight over who gets which one....of course this leaves the bean out in the cold..literally!!

Oh well....if it gets too chilly, they'll come sleep with me and I get the benefit of 50+lbs of free "radiant heat" so it all works out!

Trix earned herself a Mr Greenie, so of course I had to share it! She did have a "+10" snicky-snack, so I'm sure that is partly why Mr Greenie is on the scene tonight.

She LOVES that cubby...always has. This is the first winter that she's been "funny" about feeding (ie, before this past spring, MamaBean didn't have to hold the plate for most meals), so in the past, her being in there has never been an issue. What can ya do, though? It certainly is cozy, and I admit I'm a little jealous that I don't fit in there :lol: !

That Trixie is one spoiled Kitty .... That Winter hideout rocks! Come on Trixie and eat your food so Amy does not have to follow you around the house all day!
