Good morning! I am late posting this morning because I actually went btb. I have only done this a few times since Jan. I am off today and was so exhausted having got only 5 hours sleep last night, that I just needed it. To tfs for me requires and then I cant go btb, so I just bit the bullet and got through it ok. I really need to try this more often. I am going to try again to get her groomed today, and since I thought I had to work, I dont have an appt. so wish me luck..she really needs it. I will get a +2.5 and update then. Have a great day everyone :smile:

I was able to get her in at the groomer this am and just picked her up..not a happy kitty :evil: ..and theres a hissing match going on now with the civvies. Needless to say she isnt having any part of testing right now, so I am letting her be. She is presently under the bed, after eating her noon meal. I can only assume her bg # is stress elevated, so I will just wait til pmps to test. On a happy note, she looks so much better and she got a lion cut I know she has to feel better too!(well, physically anyway). The groomer that did her(first time for this lady) said what everyone says after dealing with her, that she is the sweetest kitty! I love my baby..

I'm trying to imagine Chi Chi with a little gray lion cut! that must be very cute. feel free to post a pic!

poor thing must've been traumatized by the groomer visit. ;-) i take my little Anya in to get a "brazilian" and she is less than thrilled at getting her behind shaved. :lol: but otherwise she gets terrible cling-ons from the litter box and we've had too many traumas from that to ignore the long hair.

glad you got to go back to bed. ya gotta sleep when you can with a diabetic kitty!

BTBs are the best...I can't function without them anymore. I hope Chi Chi has recovered from her trip to the groomer....I'd love to see her lion cut, too. Have a great evening, Laura!

I third the request to see pics of Chi Chi's new do!! Hope she has recuperated from her day at the groomers- there is a lot of flat yellow cycles in LL today! :roll:
