Yesterday's Condo

Just a quick note from under the hair dryer! It just figures that Cinco looked like he had a good little slide going and I had to leave!  So I loaded up Otto and included some 8% just in case. I hope I didnt mess up a good thing, after yesterday's ugliness.

Sasha did not want to eat this morning. I didn't have time to wait after giving her the Ondansetron. She had a couple bites of cat food and a couple bites of baby food and wouldn't eat more, so I left both plates and hope she ate eventually, before Harvey finds them.

Oops. Dryer's done. Bbl.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. Praying for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, Lisa's DF and Elise's DM.

Don't you just hate when they decide to slide on you when you have plans? I'm betting otto came to the rescue and all will be well when you get home. I hope your hair came out nicely. Pj party tonight???

Looks like a nice blue surf for Mr. Cinco today, hope your day went well and it does look like Otto did his job! Sending appetite and feel better vines for little Sasha- I hope her appetite gets better. I don't envy you with multiple cats, it's hard to tell who is eating what or when!

Thanks for the visits today, Elise, Liz, Carla, Amy and Ruth.

I guess Cinco did behave. He for sure ate every speck of food Otto offered him! I almost don't need to wash the tray! So now that I'm home, he's looking like he's going to surf yellow. I just hope, if he's planning to visit the lagoon tomorrow, he does it during the day. I can't imagine trying to keep tabs on him AND answer the door! Of course, it's supposed to be raining here, so maybe we won't get many trick or treaters. I stocked up on candy, after running out last year, so that's another reason traffic will probably be light!

I don't know if Sasha ate the baby food I left her or not. The bowl was licked clean, though, so someone did. The cat food I left was still there. When I got home I fed her the other half of the jar, plus about 1/3 of another. At dinnertime I got her to eat about a tablespoon of cat food, followed by the rest of that jar of baby food. She gets her Ondansetron in an hour, and I'll offer her more baby food an hour or so after that. I really have to put the plate in her face most of the time to get her to eat more than a bite or two. It's very time consuming, but I'm willing to do it, if that's what it takes. I'm just a little worried about next week. We leave Wednesday night for Phoenix for five days (NASCAR races). My cat sitter will be happy to feed her like that at night, but she works during the day, so Sasha will have to take it upon herself to eat then. Fortunately, this will be the third week since chemo, so I'm hoping her appy will improve by then, as it has in the past two cycles.

We are going to try to put the Soft Claws on Sasha tonight. Wish us luck!

Sorry I haven't been around to visit condos today. I'll try to get to some tonight and more tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great Fursday!

Okay, so we're not going to surf yellow. Just got off to a slow start. Be interesting to see where he goes.

Soft claws are in place. It remains to be seen how long they stay there. Sasha did not enjoy the procedure at all. I'm not sure this is going to be the solution, though. Even though they are not sharp, I would think her scratching would still irritate the skin. I'll report in on how she does with them.

Hi Tricia
I hope all is going well.
Soft claws? So they are for scratching? How do they stay on?

Hi Sarah. They're supposed to keep cats from damaging your furniture when they scratch on it. I'm trying them to prevent Sasha from damaging herself! You put them on with glue, kind of like fake fingernails.

I hope the manicure works. ;-) When I first heard of those years ago they didn't stay on long. I doubt any of my cats would ever allow them to be put on except for maybe Max. Good luck.I hope the nausea is gone now for Sasha.Cinco must have kept Max company last night. I like the blue surfs.
