04/24 KB's AMPS 212

We're ready for blues again.

I met the beautiful furry, purry Meowzi and her bean WCF earlier this week. They sent KB some wonderful snacks, which I shared, then put away, as soon as I got home. Someone thought he could score a special snack and went snooping in my purse! (I have never seen him on this cupboard before - my DH called me over while he was snapping the picture.)



All he got for his troubles was a tissue, which I took away from him before he could shred it. He did get to sample each of the treats - the bonito flakes in particular were a sensation.

He wanted me to thank Meowzi for sharing, and we both hope she had some nice strolls to make up for the vet visit.

Is that KB in your purse? He's a BIG boy - I never would have guessed that from his profile pic.

How was it to meet The Princess in person? Were you allowed to touch HRH or is she untouchable outside the family?

How nice that you met WCF and Meowzi! I love the photo of KB - good catch with the camera by DH! Either you need to feed KB more, or those were some very excellent snacks. I think I will go out to get some bonito flakes.

I agree.. KB needs more snacks.. soooooooo happy she is enjoying them!! Nice beginning to the day & I hope you see some pretty Blues too ;-)

Heather, The Princess was very friendly and very amenable to scritches, even though she clearly was not pleased with her surroundings. She has the most beautiful eyes, too. I had my hands on that wonderful fur as much as I could, I hope it helped keep her calm.

I hope that KB comes down to those wonderful blues you want today..and I hope it is real soon!

Love the pic of KB scrounging for a treat! You say you have never seen him on this cupboard before? Well, this is certainly proof how much food is a motivator now, isn't it, lol!

Glad you got to meet Meowzi and WCF. I met WCF when we were doing the transport for Twinkie and Beasley. She is a very nice person!

Have a wonderful day, Nina and KB! Saturday is Caturday to make sure that KB gets some of those fishy flakes! My guys love them, too. I buy them from one of the Asian Food Markets in the Strip District. Much cheaper than getting them from the pet store or on line, btw.

And somekitty here went snooping in my backpack that I left out in the living room when we got home. Cali could smell the toys you sent, she actually had her head in the backpack, sniffing away at the ziplock baggie they were in :lol:

It was really nice to meet you, Nina! Meowzi agrees too, although she thinks the next time we meet up, it should be away from a veterinary hospital environment.

Meowzi tells KB he is very welcome, she's happy they like the treats. The bonito flakes were from a little Asian store out on the West Shore. They cost about $4 for a 3.5 oz bag, which is plenty and lasts us a long time. I can get you the address for it if you like.

Meowzi is very touchable as long as it's not by anyone in the veterinary profession. She loves most people, and is usually very curious and interested. She once hopped up on to the coffee table and sat and stared at a schoolmate of DH's who was visiting :lol: He told DH later that he wasn't a cat person and normally didn't like cats, but thought she was really cool.
