Ugh on the yellow...I just don't like seeing it, even though she brings herself down after eating. We also had a little bit of empty tummy spit up right before breffis this morning, too...another thing I don't like seeing. But she is happy and snuggly and purry and energetic and appy is happy (although not off-the-charts happy - but definitely happy).
Thank you for all the visits yesterday! For some reason, her body looks so tiny in that picture - must have been the angle. She was having such a good time with that ball - it had gone MIA for a while, but DH pulled it out from under the couch the other night. She was also batting around and old wine cork DH pulled out from under the couch, too  !
My Dad ended up going to the doctor yesterday afternoon because his temperature hit the designated cut off set by his oncologist (100.4). His BW looked good (his platelets were already up significantly from the day before!), and his lungs sounded clear, but since he's had a lingering cough from the cold he had a couple weeks ago, the doc decided to do a chest x-ray. It turns out he has a lung infection. Of course, with cancer and chemo, ANYTHING that strays from normal is just so damn nerve-rattling, so hopefully that's all it really is. He started on ABs last night. I'm really bummed and depressed....we got all of about 3 hours to enjoy the good news about his tumor markers dropping so much and then he started feeling crappy. He was supposed to be able to enjoy his extra week off from chemo  ....
(I just talked to him and he did say he was feeling better today, so I guess the ABs are starting to work.)
Another interesting thing I never knew: apparently since chemo and steroids pummel your immune system (that part I knew), it's not unusual to have normal WBC count but still have an infection.
Tonight we have a big birthday celebration for my niece....should be fun, but also tiring. With this crazy cat schedule, I can't handle long days anymore  !!
Time to get myself moving....have a great day, LL!
