Yesterday's Mellow Yellow Condo

Cinco has been very vocal this morning. He was making a fuss a few minutes ago, so I decided to test him instead of waiting for +6 as planned. He is dropping, but still blue. Not sure why he's complaining, but he started again as soon as the food was gone! :roll: He's really liking these on demand back rubs, and he's demanding them more and more often! :lol: Who's training who?

Sasha's appy is still not happy. Got about four small bites of cat food into her this morning, and then spoon fed half a jar of baby food. This is the fifth day on the Cerenia, so tomorrow I get to try the Mirtz. I hope it helps! This is very stressful for both of us. She is otherwise doing just fine, except for the itchy neck.

OT: Got a call from DFIL this morning, he and DMIL will not be coming for Thanksgiving as planned. They want to go to Tucson to be with his recently bereaved DBIL and her recently bereaved DS. They also want to be closer to Mark's DGM, who is fading fast. Wish we could go, but Mark just took time off for the Phoenix trip, and we're going to Ohio for a week at Christmas. Plus, short notice to get someone to watch kitties. Looks like it'll just be a quiet holiday for the two of us. The upside is I don't have to exhaust myself cleaning! ;-) :smile:

I know you must be disappointed about the family not coming but at least you have a Christmas trip to look forward to on the brighter side.

Nice slide for Cinco today. I hope Sasha's appy gets better. Sorry your family won't be in for Thanksgiving, but sometimes a nice, quite Holiday is nice.

Cinco seems to have surfed yellow tonight - imagine that! I appreciate it greatly, but I hope it doesn't mean another dive tomorrow, at least not during the daytime, as I have an eye appointment in the afternoon. He can hit the lagoon for all he's worth in the evening, as far as I'm concerned.

Sasha didn't want dinner - not even baby food, so I left for bowling stressed about her. After we got back, she didn't want the cat food the others were scarfing down, but I did manage to persuade her to eat a little more than half a jar of baby food. Whew! I hope the Mirtz will help me make it through the next week or so until the chemo side effects wear off! This is hard on a bean.

I am still reeling from the news about J.D. My heart is bleeding for Dyana. 20 years is a wonderful, long life for any kitty, but for one with FD, it's amazing, and a testament to what a fantastic mamabean she is. I'll be holding her and Ginger in my heart and prayers from now on.
