Well, I slept through my +4 alarm. Ava got home and fed JuJu at +6. We have talked about getting him down to 4 feedings a day to make it easier on us. I planned on waiting until after his OTJ trial to make the transition. However, due to today's slight mishap and the fact that he tested +9 66, we're going to try feeding him at AMBG/+6/PMBG/+6.

BTW, I also don't think you need to check ketones daily but I'd be checking 1-2 times a week. JuJu will always be a diabetic (but hopefully always in remission). I'm not sure they ever identified the source of his infection. Cats in normal numbers can show trace ketones ....so....just to be cautious.
