11/27 Trixie AMBG 154 "+4" 115 - Happy Thanksgiving!!

Yesterday

A nice, easy start here in SnuggleCity....we've had morning snuggles, a gluttonously happy appy (after all, it IS Thanksgiving, right :lol: ?), super smooth gelcap (something to truly be thankful for!), and then some more snuggles. DH gave her a +9 snack yesterday, so we had a wonderful PMBG of 112 last evening, too.

The weather did turn really gross yesterday....started out as rain, but turned to sloppy, wet, heavy snow with treacherous roads. Yep, it's back :sad: . I ended up closing the store at 3:00...no one was out buying beads at all. That did allow me to get my pies made before dinner, so I could crash. However, it also became a comedy of errors: I dropped my cinnamon sugar pastry I make from the leftover dough on the oven door; I pulled the pecan pie out too fast and the filling splashed out onto the cookie sheet; said filling burned to a crisp because I forgot it was there when I reheated for the pumpkin pie; I almost forgot to put the sugar in the pumpkin pie (thank goodness DH asked to taste the filling before I poured it into the shell!). If that wasn't enough, right after doing Trix's fluids, I simultaneously (gently) stepped on her tail AND spilled her water bowl on her :roll: ! I told DH this was my punishment for skipping out of work early...

Oh yeah, and it's snowing again RIGHT NOW :roll: !

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I am thankful for each and everyone one of you - my amazing LL has taught me so much about love, dedication, strength, and courage. All of you have made me a better person, and I thank you.

:shock: :shock: on your cooking endeavors yesterday. Can I laugh just a little. Memories are made of days like those. ;-) OOOOOOOOOO! I love cinnamon sugar pastry! My mom always made that too from leftover dough. The. best. ever. Well, I hope all ended up on the good side. Pies are done, and by now Trixie has probably forgiven you. Enjoy your Holiday today. I am guessing you will be with your mom and dad? I hope it is great.

I have so heard about your weather.... It is making all the news spots here in the NW. Stay warm, derive safe, and dodge all the idiots that think snow gives them a license to drive crazy. :roll: :lol: Such a winter wonderland it can be. I hope you can stay home and just enjoy some of it. maybe?

Amy, reading of your cooking adventures made me feel so much better about mine! I have them regularly, not just at holiday time! Fortunately, I have a very understanding DH.
